-My type-
The Pentagram design firm has created a charming little video quiz to identify your type--as in typeface, that is. I highly recommend it, particularly to those friends who are Meyers-Briggs experts (Grace and Irene!). I found it was spot on in diagnosing my type.
Access the quiz here (the password is "character"). A virtual psychotherapist--a well-dressed gentleman with a soft German accent--will prompt you to respond to four simple but cleverly posed questions. (My favorite example was the chocolates--you'll see.) He may seem a trifle impatient; as in other personality tests, it seems your immediate impression is the desired one here. Your reward for completing the quiz, however, will be the revelation of your type, accompanied by an intriguing description of its history and characteristics.
After you take the quiz, please come back and share your type in a comment!
P.S. The kitty-cat girls took the quiz, too. Isabel's type was Marina Script. Maisie's was Cooper Black Italic.

I took your type quiz and I am apparently the dot matrix typeface. Very interesting. I think it is cute that you took the quiz for Isabel and Masie. Glad to know you are feeling better! Love and miss you!
Hi Dearie!
I'm Perpetua Titling Light. :-) I posted this on my blog and linked to you.

I'm Perpetua Titling Light too. Not surprised, as I am still the only person, it seems, who uses Times New Roman and doesn't like Calibri, the default san-serif font in Microsoft Word 2007.
well, what do you know? i haven't seen you in forever but apparently we are the same typeface! loved the quiz :-)
Blech, I'm Courier! I do not like that type at all, which is kind of funny.....
Thank you all for taking the quiz! Fascinating to see how we vary and how we are alike. And how none of us came out with some of the very odd (in my opinion) fonts.
Grace, I still use Times New Roman, as well, because it's so much the dominant font in academic medicine! I wonder what the story is behind Calibri and why Microsoft decided to try pushing it instead of TNR.
Courtney, I'm sorry that your font turned out to be one you don't like--but really glad that Blogger didn't eat your comment this time! I actually kind of like Courier because of its retro vibe, but it doesn't seem elegant enough to fit your personal style.
In a funny example of reading what you expect to see, I originally thought Perpetua Titling Light was Perpetua TiLTing Light. I guess I was thinking about the slant of the letters.
