I recently moved an armchair from the bedroom (Isabel-only territory) to the living room, and Maisie soon discovered the space underneath. Low and completely enclosed by the slipcover, it's a perfect hide-out for a diminutive kitty. Maisie likes to dash full-speed down our long hallway, then slide dramatically underneath, narrowly escaping imaginary predators close on her heels.
Sometimes she hides better than others.

ReplyDeleteHi Eileen! Pottery Barn - and I think they still sell something similar. It's made of sea grass and was a gift from my parents when I moved into the cottage in San Carlos. Miss you, too!
